The infamous preacher turned politician David Kariuki Ngare alias Gakuyo now says he is ready to unseat Thika MP Patrick Wainaina wa Jungle.
Gakuyo, the founder of troubled Gakuyo Real Estate and Ekeza Sacco says the first term MP has failed to deliver for his constituents and that he has all it takes to transform the expansive Constituency.
He accused the MP of taking development projects to areas outside his jurisdiction leaving his electorates wallowing in poverty.
Speaking when he accompanied Kiambu governor James James Nyoro whom he advises politically in Thika, the self-proclaimed bishop tasked the MP declare his national political stand.
The self-proclaimed bishop cited that the MP has been an ally of Deputy President William Ruto and a member of Tanga Tanga movement which has been fighting developments initiated by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“I no longer want to be the governor of Kiambu. I now want to deal with this person that has been derailing developments. I will dethrone him quite easily to deliver for Thika people,” he made the remarks referring to the MP.

Since Kenya recorded it’s first Covid-19 positive case in March, the independent MP has been crisscrossing Kiambu County donating to the poor.
He has been in the forefront to deliver masks, sanitizers, food rations to impoverished people across the county.
The MP has also been constructing shades for Bodaboda operators across the county to cushion them from harsh weathers.
But in a seemed bid to stop the MP, Gakuyo has opened political war against him and threatens to now take over his parliamentary position.
