Papa Shirandula is DEAD.

The Veteran Kenyan actor Charles Bukeko, popularly known as Papa Shirandula from his character and stage name on a Citizen TV show died on Saturday Morning after a short illness.

His family confirmed the demise of the popular actor and comedian saying Bukeko who was a firstborn in a family of four died at Karen Hospital after a short illness.

He has died at the age of 58.

Papa was a multiple award-winning actor who scooped the Kalasha Award for ‘Best Actor in a TV Series’ in 2010.

He leaves behind a wife, Beatrice Ebbie Andega, and three children; Tony, Charlie and Wendy.
