President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday hosted Kisii and Nyamira county MCA’s in a bid to strengthen bond between national and devolved governments.
Uhuru who spoke during the meeting with the MCA’s forgave the member of county assembly who was once reported to have insulted Uhuru by saying that he smokes bhang.
Uhuru in his statement told the MCA ‘I forgive you adding that ‘Let by-gones, be by gones
Samuel Aboko Onkwani the MCA for Kiogoro Ward representative had told a public congregation, ‘Those close to President Uhuru Kenyatta should advise him to stop smoking bhang,’ and was charged in court for insulting the president.
