An over speeding ambulance belonging to Swift Paramedic on Friday wedged fire along Lang’ata road near Uhuru Gardens.

A mechanical fault was confirmed to have caused the outrage. There was no casualties in the accident as the ambulance driver freed unhurt.

The officer further exposed that the driver communicated the emergency fire brigade but by the time the extinguisher was getting to the scene, the vehicle had already scorched to the ground.

The occurrence caused a heavy traffic snarl up commencing from the Mbagathi Roundabout elongating to the Uhuru Gardens entrance.
